Using optimised images in a webpage make a big difference to page response times. In our designs, if the page requires an image of a specific size then our Bespoke CMS will automatically produce that image size form your original, so keeping the file sizes to a minimum. This is a definite advantage over other systems that 'squash' a larger size file into the space, these 'squashed images' can also appear 'out of focus' in comparison to a properly resized image.
